Windows 10: Display Issues with Build 10.0.19044

I have an application, On Screen Takeoff and it seems that while all the windows are the appropriate size, the contents within are falling outside the boundaries of the window and the font seems to be bolded but none of the text settings have been altered. The only common feature I have found is that it only happens with build 19044. Any guidance would be appreciated

Step 1: Perform a
clean boot to eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update.

the issue.

Step 2: Kindly use the
System File Checker utility as well to check for system file corruptions.

Step 3:
Update the display driver on your Windows 10.

I see that you had installed an old build and I suggest you to update to the latest build 14342 and check it helps.

To receive build updates. I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if that helps to resolve the issue.

In order to understand the issue more clearly, I would request you to kindly provide me with the following information.

  Are you able to access the computer? Are you able to login to the computer?
  
• 
  Are you playing the games in the same computer?
  

If you are not able to access the computer, I would suggest you to follow the steps given below.

To diagnose whether this issue occurs in
“Safe Mode”, let’s reboot the computer in safe mode and check if the issue appears there as well.

Safe mode is a diagnostic mode for Windows that starts your computer in a limited state. Only the basic files and drivers necessary to run Windows are started. This helps us in identifying whether the issue is due to some
third party programs conflict. The word Safe mode appear in the concern of your monitor to identify which windows mode you are using.

Follow the steps given below and check if that helps.

Run inbuilt Hardware & Device troubleshooter


Let’s try running inbuilt Hardware and Devices troubleshooter to get the problem automatically detected and fixed. It checks for common issues and makes sure that any new device or hardware attached to your computer was installed
correctly.

  Press Windows + W keys on your keyboard to get the search option.
  
• 
  Type Troubleshooting and click
  Troubleshooting.
  
• 
  Now click on view all option.
  
• 
  Click on Hardware and Device and follow the prompts to run the troubleshooter.
  

If the issue persists, follow method 2

Method 2:

Step 1: Update the Display driver.
Please follow the steps given below to update the display driver.

  Click Start and go to

  In the Run prompt, type
  devmgmt.msc and then click OK.
  
• 
  Device Manager will open.
  
• 
  In Device Manager
  expand Display adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click the display driver and click
  Update Driver Software.
  
• 
  Select Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software.
  

Step 2: Check if there are any updates for display drivers available in Optional Updates; this might fix the issue. Refer to the following steps.

  At the Start screen, type Windows Update.
  
• 
  Click or tap Settings on the right side of the screen, and then select Install optional updates from the left results.
  
• 
  When the Windows Update control panel opens, click on “Check for Updates” on the top left corner to receive a fresh list of updates.
  

Step 3: If the issue persists, I would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the Display driver. Please follow the steps mentioned below to uninstall the display driver.

  Open Device Manager.
  
• 
  Expand Display adapters.
  
• 
  Right-click the display card driver and click
  Uninstall.
  
• 
  Windows will prompt you to confirm the device’s removal. Click OK to remove the driver.

Computer will load the generic display drivers. Now, please go to the manufacturer’s website, download and install the compatible display card drivers for your computer and check.
