Windows 10: Display number added by 1 for both dual monitor

I'm using Windows 10 and using ControlMyMonitor tool, I found that "\\.\DISPLAY1\Monitor0" bacome "\\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0" and "\\.\DISPLAY2\Monitor0" became "\\.\DISPLAY3\Monitor0", I mean display number has been added by 1 for each. But in Windows settings, identify in system give right number for each monitor.I want to fix this because I'm using command line of ControlMyMonitor and don't want to change my code not only because it's cumbersome, but also I'm gonna use this code in other computer also.What I did to fix this is 1. turning off computer and reconnecting both monitors, and 2. dele

This issue might have occurred due to display drivers. Try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to update the display drivers and check if the issue persists.

Steps to Update Graphics Driver.

• Press Windows key + X key when you are at desktop.
• Select Device Manager.
• Expand Display Adapter.
• Right click on the Display Adapter and click on
  Update driver software.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on Windows 10.

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Also, check if the issue persists on 100% screen resolution as well.

Screensaver slideshow does not display correctly whith dual monitors set to "extend desktop"

Objective: I have dual monitors (as an extended desktop, side by side) and want it to show my own pictures as a screensaver slideshow in Windows 10.

Problem: Only the lower half ot the picture is diplayes in the top half of monitor 1. Monitor 2 is black.

Addtional observations:

• In "Screen Saver Settings" the small mock-up display looks fine, however when i select "Preview" the problem with only half the picture displayed occurs also in the preview.
• The problem does not occur with only one monitor in use
• The problem does not occur with dual monitors set to "Duplicate these displays"

Gratefull for all suggestions to solve the problem

The same picture also work fine as desctop background with different pictures displayed on each monitor.

You may need to reconfigure your display's settings. Follow these steps to make your display settings permanent:

• Close or minimize all open programs.
  
• Right click an empty area.
  
• Select Display settings.
  
• Under Multiple displays, select your desired settings.
  
• Click Identify to verify which monitor is number 1 and number 2.
  
• Click Apply.
  
• Click Keep changes to save the settings.
