Windows 10: Display randomly goes off and back on

Hello. I have an issue with my pc the last two weeks. My tv signal turns black randomly. Sometimes is getting back itself after some seconds, sometimes i have to press a key on my keyboard in order to do so.. I set my power management option for display off after some time and put to sleep to "never". When display is off i can still hear the sound normally. I use Win 10. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Hi,

To increase the display timeout, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Select Desktop and click Personalization.
• Select Lock Screen, then Click on Screen time out settings.
• Change the required time in the drop down under Screen.

PC goes into black screen and froze

Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not a software related issue which is why I was suggesting that you remove the video card to start with since it's such an easy process of elimination step.

I'm not familiar with AMD CPUs, I did see that you had listed in your system specs but I had no idea whether or not it has an iGPU

Is there any possibility of you being able to get your hands on any compatible video card at all?it would be the easiest step to try to troubleshoot or at least one of the easier ones. You should be able to get into the bios without anything but A display cable hooked up to the motherboard

 

Windows 10 freezes randomly

• Look for the computer model that you're using.
• You should find any available BIOS update.
