Windows 10: Display resolution greyed out. despite laptop previously displaying in 4k on monitor...

Hello, Having issues with display being greyed out, I am on a work laptop so cannot update drivers only a company admin can. Previously, it had let me display in 4k on my monitor so do not understand why it is no longer working.Thanks,J

4K wireless display adapter not displaying right resolution

The 4k wireless display adapter is not displaying the resolution of 1920x1200 and is only displaying up to 1920x1080. If the same monitor is connected to through HDMI straight, the correct resolution is displayed. I checked the firmware and it says that it is the latest version. The monitor was bought within 4 months and thus is one of the latest models. I am using Windows 11 Pro 21H2.

I just bought a new 15.6'' laptop that comes with stunning 4k high-resolution display. However, I found out that Windows 8.1 does not really look optimized with 4k display because the entire UI looks very small. I just want to know
if Windows 10 will be supporting this kind of new display resolution, hopefully

4K monitor displaying from 1080p laptop

Hi I have a quick question (hope this is the right category). I recently purchased a Dell 4k monitor (P2415Q) to use on my Asus 1080p laptop. I did noticed that I was able to stream 4k video online fine (extended display mode), however I will be using the
4k display mainly for photo viewing/editing. Because my laptop is 1080p, does that mean the default windows 10 Images software will display my images in 1080p format? Or will it convert to the 4k due to the monitor? After trying to research this question online
I just got all confused and am probably overthinking this question. Thanks!
