Windows 10: Display resolution stuck on 640x480 on a fresh windows 10 installation using microsoft...

Hello,Yesterday I installed a whole new fresh windows 10 installation on my Lenovo ThinkPad t460, the installation went smoothly and I barely ran into any problems. the only problem I am facing is that the resolution display is stuck on 640x480 with no option to change it since It's grayed out.I've seen multiple threads about this issue suggesting to update the drivers or changing specific settings and none of them seem to solve my problem.I would appreciate any further help regarding this issue.Thanks in advance.

640x480 resolution problem

This is Wil, one of the independent advisor, an expert with Windows 10 and a fellow Windows 10 user like you. I understand your concern about 640x480 resolution.

You would normally have a little window with a black box around it because basically that resolution can't be displayed fullscreen on the monitors that are in the market right now. May I ask why do you need to switch to 640x480 resolution.

TV Display stuck in 640x480

Good afternoon! A little insight about the problem I am facing: my HP Laptop Display isn't working due to a problem with the LCVD cable and this is why I use my TV as the main screen of my computer via an HDMI cable. My TV has its resolution of 1920x1080.
I am using a Windows 10 Education license.

Today I tried playing a 1999 game and the game had its settings set on resolution 640x480. All went fine until the game crashed, had to use different desktops to be able to stop the process, and now my TV is stuck in 640x480. The problem is that in Settings
> System > Display the 3 labels under "Scale and layout" are greyed out, without any way for me to change the settings. The TV works on its normal resolution in HDMI mode when connected to my television receiver.

I have searched for a little while over the internet, but didn't find a viable solution. Maybe because there aren't a lot of people trying to play really old games on really advanced machines.

Post Scriptum: The game that caused me this problem is Tiberian Sun from EA Games, tried other games older or a bit newer than this one and didn't face a problem like this.

I have a AOC monitor e2352phz and display resolution is locked to 640x480

I have a AOC monitor e2352phz and display resolution is locked to 640x480 and in device manager the monitor is showing as Generic Non PnP monitor.

I have recently added AMD Radeon RX 6500 XT graphics card and the issue was observed. Earlier I had Nvidia GTX 1050 and the issue was not there I was able to use monitor in 1920x1080resolution.

Need help or suggestions to the monitor to display 1920x1080 resolution.
