Windows 10: Display says “Unsupported” when turning it on.

I was in Radeon software messing around with “creating a custom display mode” when i accidently activated a setting that changed my display settings that my current 1080i 60 Hertz display doesn’t support. The setting was:

• Coordinated Video Timings-Reduced Blanking CVT-RB – Reduces horizontal and vertical blanking periods and allows a lower pixel clock rate and higher frame rates.

Right after I switched that on, my screen went black.


I tried going into safe mode to chnage it to a different display size, but it never saves it.

What should I do here?

The Windows 10 App Says My CPU Is Unsupported

My problem is that The Windows 10 App says my Intel Core 2 Duo E6700 is unsupported. I have applied the Patch but it still says that the CPU is unsupported. The processor is 2.66 GHZ also here is a list of instructions that it can take.

Display does not turn off when pc is idle

Just did all the suggestions. Did not work. Display does not turn off.

This issue was from the beginning when I downloaded Win 10. I had Win 8.1 and the display always turned off as I set it.

My pc is HP Pavilion Touchsmart 23 all-in-one. According to "checking for updated drivers on display and monitors", I always get the response that the drivers currently installed are the correct ones.

I understand that you receive error “you are using an unsupported browser” while accessing few websites using Internet Explorer 11. I would definitely assist you in fixing the issue.

This might be caused due to compatibility issues. I would suggest you to enable “Display all Websites in Compatibility view” option.

Follow these steps:

a. Open Internet Explorer.

b. Select “Tools” menu, if it is not displayed press “Alt” key from your keyboard to view the Menu bar.

c. Then select “Compatibility view Settings” option from the list.

d. Place a check mark next to “Display intranet sites in Compatibility view” at the bottom of the window.

e. Click on “Close” button.

f. Close then reopen Internet Explorer and then check if this fixes the issue.
