Windows 10: Display/Screens Turns Off

Systemell Precision LaptopWindows 10 Pro I have multiple displays connected to my laptop via Dell Dock. At random times, when the laptop is idle all the screens turn offnot actual turn off, power is still on. Sleep settings are set to NEVER on everything, HDD is set to never go to sleep, and advanced power settings is on performance. Yet for some reason the displays still turn off. The Laptop does not go to sleep, only cut the signal after idle for a certain period of time. I have to move the mouse or keyboard to restore the image. This is very frustrating. Any idea how to fix this?

This issue may arise when the display drivers gets outdated. We will help you to resolve the issue.

I suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter and check if it helps.

Follow these steps to run Power troubleshooter:

• Type troubleshooting in the search bar.
• Select Troubleshooting.
• Select View all on the top left corner.
• Click on Power.
• Follow the on-screen instructions to run the troubleshooter.
• Check if issue persists.

If the issue persists, I suggest you to update the display driver and check if it helps.

• Press Windows Key + R on your desktop screen to go to run command box.
• Type devmgmt.msc and hit Enter.
• Look for display driver, right-click and then click
  Update.
• When you are prompted to confirm that you want to remove the device, click
  OK.
• Restart your computer.

It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

• Boot your computer in
  safe mode.
• Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
• Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
• Restart your computer.

But you did not look at that tutorial's list of related tutorials for all the other
Add or Remove ... from Power Options - TenForumsTutorials
ones. That's what I suggested. The link to that particular tutorial was just a way in to the set of them.
