Windows 10: Display settings for a Latitude 5400 not being remembered on more than two D6000 docking...

I have a user with a Dell Latitude 5400 who works between three offices. She uses D6000 docking stations at each office. She finds that two of the three docking stations remember her display settings. However, the settings need to be reset once she connects to the third docking station.


Is it possible to configure her laptop to remember all three or more docking stations so her display setting don't have to be redone when she connects to the third dock?


Windows 10 is the OS.

Audio dropouts up through Dell D6000 Docking Station

Running Win10, Dell laptop Latitude E6430. (i&)

Connected to Dell D6000 docking station with external speakers plugged into the headphone jack on the docking station.

When playing any audio, it has occasional dropouts, usually for about a second or two, all day long.

If I plug my external speakers directly into the laptop's headphone port, all is FINE.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the latest D6000 drivers a number of times, and noticed that after reinstalling, the audio works fine for a day or two, then starts its dropouts again..getting worse as the days go on. I have done this 4 times already,
and the same thing happens each time.

I have even replaced the docking station with a new one to eliminate a hardware issue.....same exact progression of events.

Any ideas?

I believe there is a tab in the article about troubleshooting your Dell D6000 Docking Station

Here are the steps.

Right-click the Sound icon on the System Tray

Select Playback devices

Right-click and check both Show Disconnected Devices and Show Disabled Devices

Right-click USB Audio device and select Set as default

Display Dock - Setting display

I have received my free Display Dock (thank you Microsoft). To try it out I connected it to my TV, the opening screen had the option to adjust the screen size (enlarge or reduce the image until the markers in each corner were displayed) but I inadvertently
hit continue so the screen hasn't been adjusted correctly (it needs reducing as there is a lot of the screen missing).

Assuming the device will remember this setting for that display, I'm assuming it will not ask me to adjust again. That being the case how do I make this adjustment?
