Windows 10: Display settings please

I have a Surface Pro 7, it is my employers, I am on a network and they lock and disable a lot of features. I have 2 monitors 1080p connected via a splitter, one like this though not this exact one, I am linking to this one because they offer some troubleshooting advice.

The splitter was not initially detected, nothing on either external monitor, I left it plugged in and switched off and rebooted. Now the external monitors were detected and came to life. But I have 3 screens and only got the Surface Pro recognising 2 screens.

A+B+B
A = Surface pro
B = Both external monitors

In the screens box (in display properties) there are just 1 & 2, pressing "detect" says "no other screens detected".

I have 2 options in Display settings
"Duplicate these displays" = gives A+A+A
"Extend these displays" = gives A+B+B

The listing link on Amazon offers some help - the seller is in China so the English is not so good.


Support Windows 10 OS
Mirror Mode:A-A/AA
( 3 Screens' image will be the same.)

Extend Mode: A-B/BB/BC
( 2monitors' image can be same or different.)

How to connect Extend Mode for Windows OS?
Right-click desktop→ select Intel display Settings → pop-up Settings screen select display→ select multi-screen display→ expand the desktop

(If the display 3 is not display, please to manually select the display→click apply confirm can set OK)

If one of display does not display, How to do?
Right click desktop > Graphics Settings > Select One or More Active Displays

Friendly Reminders:

Different systems' setting may be slightly different,If you are not sure how to operate, please feel free to let us know ,we are very gladly to help you;
Make sure the Type C port of your host device supports video output (some for data only), Please reset the default audio output device if you want to play audio via the HDMI devices.
Not Support Mac devices to output two split screens, including: MacBook Air / Pro, iMac, etc


Before I go back to seller I want to ask here if you see what I see, because I don't know if some things are missing on my surface pro.

I have no split mode - Do you have Split mode?

When I right click on desktop, I get no option for "graphics settings" I only get "Display" and "personalise"

When I do go to "graphics settings" which I find at the bottom of the "display" pop up window, I find nothing, mine only offers "classic app" or "universal app" (which don't appear to do anything), nothing about selecting one or more active displays.
Does your graphics settings offer to select one or more active displays?

The instructions seem to make no sense to me, do they make sense to you?

What should I be seeing or trying to do?

Display settings

To reset the settings back to default, follow these steps:

• Go to your desktop, right click and select Display Settings.
• Choose the appropriate settings from the options under Display.

Let us know if the above steps resolved the issue.

 

How to save a multiple displays settings?

You may want to answer these questions to get more clarity on this issue:

1. May I know the make and model of the PC?
   
2. Did you try updating your display driver?
   
3. Are you getting any error message?
   

I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

Steps 1:

1. Go to settings
   
2. Click on “System"
   
3. Then click on Display
   
4. Move your mouse to the monitor that needs to be set as primary and check the box
   "Make this my main display"
   
5. Under "Multiple displays" select "Duplicate these displays"
   
6. Then select “Keep this display settings”
   

Once you make these changes, you may restart the computer and check.
