Windows 10: Display signal, but no Display after Windows 11 reinstall attempt - INCLUDING BIOS!

I've had this PC custom build for just about 3 years, with 0 problems. Two nights ago, my windows 11 PC got an automated update at 1:30 in the morning. Later that day, I went to use it and windows explorer start/task bar and desktop were locked up. I was able to interact with apps that were open like a web browser. I hit alt Ctrl delete and restarted thinking something had just crashed.When it came back up, everything looked fine until I logged in. Then it started into an endless crash loop for the start bar/desktop where the screen would go black note, minor was on the whole time, then

No Signal on the extended display

Need your help, google didn't help.

No signal on the extended display
Laptop: Dell xps15 9570
OS: Windows 10
Display: Philips 245E
Details:

• connection - HDMI
  
• it was working before, but nothing has changed, after a few days of being turned off just stopped working
  
• display is detected by the laptop, I can see it in Display settings. But "no signal" on the actual display.

I am 100% sure that this is a software issue with Windows.

What have I tried:

• plugin another laptop to my display - it worked. The display is working fine with other laptops
  
• plugin another display to my laptop - it worked. I tried to connect my laptop to a TV using the same HDMI port - it worked
  
• switch HDMI cables - no result. HDMI cables seem to be fine
  
• reinstall display, and video adapter drivers - no result
  
• tried different modes ( extend, duplicate, only pc, only extended ) - the same situation in all modes, display is detected but "no signal"
  
• I have booted from a USB stick (Ubuntu) and the display worked without any issues
  

 

No signal display

My pc starts booting then after that, it displays no signal. It must show the welcome admin but it always went to no signal after booting. Take note the bios loading is on screen and after that it displays no signal. What to do? Thanks

 

Display resolution keeps changing

Hi Rick,

It might be caused by a faulty driver that's why your display resolution keeps changing. We
suggest that you uninstall and reinstall the display driver, see steps below:

• Press Windows key + X and click on
  Device Manager.
• For graphics cards, expand the Display adapters category, right click your graphics card and select Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.
