Windows 10: Display size so big cannot navigate to fix it

I have a Toshiba laptop with Windows 10. I was in the settings and adjusted my resolution. All went well. Below that opinion was an adjustment for something else. The recommended size was 100-500. I put in 100. The computer said that to apply I would have to shut down and restart to apply. I did that. My display size is a strip about 8". The type is huge. I cannot navigate the display to resolve this dumb thing I did. Please help me. I appreciate your time reading this. Thank you so much.

Screen size does not fix.

Since the new upgrades the screen size is too big for my 7 YR old Toshiba Laptop, which I use constantly. I Can not access the x or the scroll bar. The character's are Hugh, stretched and distorted. I have followed every single step listed in troubleshooting
and even paid two computer techs to fix it. NOTHING WORKS! There used to be a simple one step adjustment: Settings: Display: Screen Size. Neither, Resetting, troubleshooting app, driver updates, changing to another resolution (which btw is suggested as a
fix but non existant) nothing works. I am at wits end. The last guy I paid to fix it suggested I just buy anew unit? I can't afford that. Please please address this issue asap. Thank you

For us to address you concern, we suggest following these steps on how to increase the text size of toolbars, application labels and folder names:

• On Cortana search, type display settings.
• Choose Display settings from the list.
• Click on Advanced display settings.
• Under Related settings, select on Advanced sizing of text and other items.
• Under Change only the text size, change specific items on your preferred text size then click on
  Apply.

Size of display on screen

We have windows 10 which has been working fine until last week; now although the desktop icons are the correct size when I open a web page, everything is too big, and the webpage doesn't fit to the size of the monitor screen - there is a small border around
the sides and the top of the webpage.

It is driving me mad - I have gone into control panel and onto display to customise display; if I set the slider bar to 100% it makes everything on the desktop too small and reading emails everything is too small, although if I open a webpage it is the correct
size, but if I slide it across to 125% everything is too big when I open a webpage, although the desktop icons are the correct size!!

Any suggestions?
