Windows 10: DisplayPort sígnal no detected

My monitor doesn’t detect the PC signal when I connect it though the display port of the monitor, and the HDMI terminal of the PC. the pc is dell vostro 3471 and the monitor is dell E2020H. The PC have a HDMI terminal and the monitor a DIsplay port terminal , and I conmect both ends with a cable . Is it necesary a driver for the PC?

windows is 10 pro.

Windows phone is not detecting

I suggest you to connect the phone to another computer and check if it gets detected. Also, check if the phone gets detected by connecting with a different USB cable.

I suggest you to run the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter by following the steps below:

• Click on the Start button, and type “Troubleshooting” on the search bar.
  
• Click on “hardware and devices”.
• A pop-up will appear, click on the “Next” button and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

Monitor not detecting a signal from the computer using a DisplayPort adapter to HDMI cable

I have XPS13 and recent purchase of thunderbolt docking station tb16. all are dell products (laptop, docking and monitors) .



The 3rd monitor is not detecting a signal from the computer using a DisplayPort adapter to HDMI cable that leads to the docking station (since for some reason the docking station only has one of each HDMI, VGA, DisplayPort female sockets. and there is no
HDMI socket on the monitor. i have tried the usual unplugging / restarting etc ,, "detect monitor" etc to no avail

 

install 2nd monitor though displayport

2nd monitor doesn't get signal from pc. pc doesn't detect monitor thru displayport. both monitors work thru vga port but not displayport. How to tell if dispayport is working properly?
