Dissociate my child's Microsoft account from my windows 10 account

    Hello

I made an error last year by giving my child Microsoft account email instead of mine for logging in windows 10 the difference is only the first letter , I didn't care to change the error now after the latest windows updates using my PC became a nightmare as I should ask my parents for permission in fact to ask myself since the linked Microsoft account is my child account , so each 3 hours I use my mobile phone to answer my request to give myself permission to use Internet, I continued to do so as I didn't see any real solution to my problem , but this morning having to work very early 5 AM , windows is asking me to wait until 7 AM to start using the PC, this is unbearable , as I didn't find a solution I wanted to delete my son logging account but I'm afraid to lose my data if I delete my son Microsoft account on my PC, so please help me.

    :)

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Dissociate my child's Microsoft account from my windows 10 account :(

    Child Account Get Greyed Out

Thanks for the suggestion, but I did the following instead.

I have another laptop, 2 weeks old, with Windows 10 Home on it.

On that one, I tried the same steps with the child account, and got the exact same results.

    Child account

I did set up a Child account, I did fallow all the steps window ask, the account say that the child is in the family, when I tried to log, give me the message "The Profile Service service Failed The Sign-in. User Profile cannot be loaded".

    Answering your questions:

    • Did you make any changes to the child account prior to the issue? No, I did not make any changes.
    • Since when you are facing this issue? Right from the start. I never got to login.
    • Are you able to login with other child accounts on the computer? No
I suggest you to restart the computer once and check if you are able to login to the computer. I did, the same problem, I do not have any problem with my account or my wife.

    Thank you for your help.

    David.
