Windows 10: Distorted Audio After Windows Update Stuttering Crackling Realtek Windows 10

PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!!


This problem is all over the internet, in every Windows help forum going. It's a joke that we pay so much to use Windows then Microsoft itself ruins our computers! You should be be ashamed! How is it possible Microsoft could a allow such a problem to persist? From the forums you can see it's been going on years!!


I have searched and searched the community forums here and tried every 'fix' I can find. Nothing works.


LatencyMon says One or more DPC routines that belong to a driver are executing too long, same thing for one or more ISR routines that belong to a driver - executing too long.

HDAudbus.sys tops the list for ISR count on LatMon
rspLLL64.sys tops the DPC count


Switched speakers, switched amps, switched headphones, all reproduce the same stuttering, crackling distorted audio that is driving me crazy because I used to listen to crystal clear music on my computer!!!!!!

I've re-installed drivers for the soundboard, from HP, from Windows, from Realtek.

Ran the MS-Dos corrupted files protocol - twice.

I've changed to stereo and back, switched sound qualities, run the sound troubleshooter into the ground.

I installed the Intel Rapid Storage Tech update.

I've disabled Enhancements. I've done the dxdiag routine - says all is well.

I've reduced CPU throttling, increased CPU use to 100% - no change.

Checked updates. Restarted Audio Services per instructions here. AND MORE...


This HP Slimline computer has nearly zero miles on it. It's incomprehensible how an update to a known vendor could screw up a simple thing like audio playback. I have made a good faith effort and spent HOURS and HOURS of my own time trying to fix YOUR problem.

Please help me, and everyone else get this right.

The Ultimate Realtek HD Audio Driver Mod for Windows 10

I had the realtek error when using the installer, so I did these step and It Worked

1.Go Open up device manager
2. Go under sound,video, and game controllers
3. Find Realtek High Definition Audio
4. Right click and hit update driver
5. Browse my computer for driver software
6. Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer
7. Click Have Disk and hit browse
8. Click on the Realtek HD Audio mod folder and look for win64
9. Click on the HDXRT4 and click ok,
10. Click Next and Yes
After it is done, restart the PC

You should be good then and also make sure before doing these steps that you have driver enforcement disabled.

Everyone that post ids, need just do these steps and you will be good. I kinda tired of keep on uploading the inf. file

additional if you want dts audio and others, install it now before next step.
