Windows 10: Distorted/blurry fonts/text on Windows 10

Hello, I recently bought a new Asus x509ja laptop, installed Windows 10, but I'm facing a very bad font/text rendering all around blurry, vertically distorted etc.. From my online research I've found out this is a common issue with Windows 10. I'm a translator so I'll be staring at text most of the time the text is distorted even in Word . If I don't fix this issue in few days, this will be the second laptop I'm returning this year.

My display is 1920x1080, the GPU is integrated Intel. I have all the latest drivers properly installed, Windows updated, tried ClearType, xpexplorer in fact, my fonts are blurry/distorted on every scaling percentage and all sorts of other stuff, nothing worked.

In Word 2019 some characters in the text are randomly bolder or parts of them are bolder, so they are different if they repeat even in the same word: https://i.snipboard.io/2RAexU.jpg

Font kind of blurry

I just built a new gaming rig and am using an XFX 6950 and an ASUS 23.6" monitor. On some pages, I notice some fonts are a bit blurry and strain my eyes. Any idea how I can fix this? I am using windows 7, so please make the steps work for that. Thanks.

 

Distorted icons and blurry text after Windows 10 update

After the installation of Windows 10 updates today, 2/7/18, my icons are all distorted and text is extremely blurry. I've tried all the display setting adjustments to no avail. I then proceeded to uninstall these updates in hopes of returning to a readable
screen and the uninstall on just one item took so long (about 3 hours) I thought my computer was done for. Any suggestions on restoring my screen to readability would be appreciated.

 

Fonts in Windows 10 blurry

This is an old thread and two years passed and I do not see that Microsoft is paying any attention to these complaints on blurry text of Windows 10. After these two years I am still seeing these blurry text fonts on Windows 10, whether looking at laptops
at BestBuy or trying myself installing Windows 10. These blurry text fonts make Windows 10 unusable to me as it seems is the case for many other users who are paying attention to system text quality. Each time I hope Microsoft fixed these issues with Windows
10 I need to revert to Windows 8.1 in order to make laptops usable.

Looking at forums I have not seen any solution to blurry text in Windows 10. At BestBuy stores I see typical laptops still blurry. Only very high end with high resolution laptops to not exhibit this problem, perhaps because this text quality issue gets hidden
by very high resolution. So the only laptops I have seen with usable text quality are those extremely expensive, not the typical 1366x758 laptops. Typical laptops have good text quality with Windows 8.1 but blurry system fonts, such as primary system menus
in Windows 10.

Is this a premeditated conspiracy to force people to buy very expensive laptops?
