Windows 10: Distorted Screen issue

This is what my laptop screen looks like. The screen looks okay after turning on, then just 5-10 mins after, it keeps showing like this. Whenever I keep it in sleep for 3-4 mins and turn on again, it looks completely fine. Then again does the same thing. I have tried all those driver related solutions, but nothing really worked. Now, am thinking of re-installing1 windows, but before that the last thing I wanted to do is if anyone can suggest any other way, will re-installing really work? P.S: My monitor is fully okay.

sound distorted after windows 10 anniversary upgrade

This is where I'm at on my HP laptop with Windows 10 and the Anniversary update.

I completed step #3 "hardware and sound" but that took me to an option for "sound, speakers." There was no "properties" as step #4 suggests. I selected "sound, speakers" and then found "properties." After selecting "properties" there was no "enhancements
tab" as step #5 suggests.

Regardless, I then uninstalled the realtek audio driver. I noticed that when I did this without restarting my laptop that the sound was now tinny, but not distorted as it was previously. After restarting, the sound was again full, yet distorted.

Realtek still shows in my programs list, though it shows no memory is used.

As per the description, I understand that your Display gets distorted after you have upgraded to Windows 10. I will certainly help you with this issue.

First of all I would like to know a few information mentioned below:

• Is display issue occur only while online?
• Does the issue happen with all the web browsers?
• What is the make and model of the computer?

Also I would like to tell you, that his issue can be caused when the display driver has not been updated or not compatible with Windows 10. Let’s try a few steps to fix the issues as mentioned below:

Method 1:
Let's check in Safe Mode with Networking if Display still gets distorted or not.

To boot in Safe Mode with Networking, Please follow these steps-

1. From charms, select search, type in cmd.

2. Once command prompt is up, type in msconfig

3. Select Boot tab

4. Check Safe Boot box

5. Hit OK.

6. Hit Restart on the dialogue box

Your PC will restart in Safe Mode.

If display is fine, You may update the Display driver from Device Manager manually and check if this helps.



Method 2:

Please follow the mentioned steps to update your Display Driver:

1. Press (Windows key + X) and click on “Device Manager”.

2. Expand “Display Adaptor”.

3. Right click on the video driver and select “Update Driver Software”. Once this is done, restart the computer and check

In case if it doesn't fixes the issue, you can try to update the driver from the Manufacturer's website.

If the issue persists, please provide us with the required information so we can search more about the issue.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.
