Windows 10: DistributedCOM frequent errors

I frequently (numerous times every day - 22 so far today at 11:10 AM) get this error

The application-specific permission settings do not grant Local Activation permission for the COM Server application with CLSID
{D63B10C5-BB46-4990-A94F-E40B9D520160}
and APPID
{9CA88EE3-ACB7-47C8-AFC4-AB702511C276}


which causes my laptop to briefly lock up. Microsoft, do you have a solution? I don't think users should have to edit the registry to get their computers to function properly.

DistributedCom 10016 permissions event error


This is Dec 13 a.m. repeat series. The events from previous days in Dec. are now not listed in the Event viewer. This event is recorded at start up , repeats itself and then is not active for the rest of the day.

 

Are you getting DistributedCOM Event ID: 10010 errors with 11.4?

For those that updated to Cat 11.4 could you check the event viewer's Administrative Events (type Event Viewer in Start's search box, click on it, let it load, then select Custom View then Admin. Events) to see if you are getting: DistributedCOM Event ID: 10010, E10F6C3A-F1AE-4ADC-AA9D-2FE6552566 errors? To check if you are continuing to get them pick a specific time to reboot and once back up to desktop check the event viewer again to see if the error pops up again at the time the PC shutdown.
