    Divx Converter and Player on Win 11


    I am attempting to install Divx player and video Converter on my Win11 PC, the installation goes ahead and apparently completes asking me to restart my PC, which I have. When the PC restarts the icons for both programs are there on the desktop but when clicked I get a message telling me that the path is missing. I have now done this twice with the same result.

    I burned 8 video files to a DVD using DivX Player, but when I go to This PC the DVD drive is shown as DivX Transfer Wizard. I can play the files on my PC but my friend can't. How can I burn the video files using DivX Player but without using the DivX Transfer Wizard?

    There is a difference between (data)copying a videofile to a DVD, which cannot be read by a DVD player, or burning a video DVD, playable with a DVD player. Looking to the specs of DivX Player, no mention is made that the player is able to burn a video DVD.

    DIVX player D/L fails

    I'm trying to D/L the newest DIVX plus web player but I keep getting a pop-up that says there is a problem and Windows will search for an answer and get back with me. So far they've been pretty quiet! What do I need to do to get this to download?

    I have removed the old player as DIVX suggests but that didn't help. I am using Win 10 and Firefox 41.0
