Windows 10: DivX Player

I burned 8 video files to a DVD using DivX Player, but when I go to This PC the DVD drive is shown as DivX Transfer Wizard. I can play the files on my PC but my friend can't. How can I burn the video files using DivX Player but without using the DivX Transfer Wizard?

You can play Xvid/DivX videos on your phone with a couple of softwares like Core-codec Player , Smart Movie or DivX Player. DivX player is free, you can download it from DivX website.

Install the converter on the PC

Convert movie files using latest divx codec. (very easy)

Install divx player on the N95 from divx.com. (go for mobile divx player, its a freeware).

Now play em.

I have been using divx player or smartmovie player on the N95 for 2 weeks, no problem, smooth.

 

There is a difference between (data)copying a videofile to a DVD, which cannot be read by a DVD player, or burning a video DVD, playable with a DVD player. Looking to the specs of DivX Player, no mention is made that the player is able to burn a video DVD.
