Windows 10: DL 2 Files for same DL "One Language" PLZ HELP

I went to dl win 10 using their media creation tool. I took english, 64 bit and one language since i figure i dont need to waste HD space on other languages (If there is any down side to doing that vs the regular version please let me know)
and i got 2 different file sizes first was 3,441,664 KB on the win 7 file size and the other was 2,611,840 KB. Does anyone have any ideas whats going on and which one should i install to disk as they are both ISO.

actually, it was a VOB file, but with same result!

it should be noted, I read someplace else about checking your computer after DL new files or software. I did after DL this concert video. I saw 2 or 3 new files with the DL date on them, and removed them.

Ran Malwarebytes....found 65 new potential harmeful files DL the same date and deleted them!

You currently have Windows 7. If you want Windows 10 activated for free you must upgrade the Windows 7 to the exact same corresponding version of Windows 10. If your Windows 7 isn't a single language edition and you attempt to upgrade it to single language Windows 10, it won't activate.

 

You need to download the ISO corresponding to the original Windows language, that is before adding any language packs. Then use that to upgrade to Windows 10. If you need a different language, then you can add the corresponding language pack after Windows 10 installation is complete and activated. All the languages ISO are here and each ISO supports both Home and Pro, so depending on your current Windows 7 version it will upgrade it to 10 Home or 10 Pro. All you need to know is if your current version is 32-bit or 64-bit to download the correct ISO and of course the original (installer) language. If you are not sure which is the original language, you can detect it by creating a new shortcut and pasting this code:

Ah yeah i know most of that i didnt know that i needed to have single lang win 7 to get single lang win 10,
Are u 100 % Certain that if i have win 7 ultimate home i cant get win 10 single language its not like its a real perk.

BTW , my bro works IT at pensky and hes not using 10, i've read a lot of stuff i dont like about it, seems like u can turn 3/4 off and its making me weary of getting 10. Figure i just install 7 again, What do u guys think?

If you only speak English, then install the English version (assuming your Windows 7 original language is English, use command to verify) and don't add any language packs. If you run the command I gave you and find out that the original Windows 7 language is not English, then download the corresponding language so you can upgrade. Use the ISO to upgrade Windows 7 to 10. Then add the English language pack and set the default display language to English. I'm not sure if you can then remove the other language to save space, but the benefit is too small to bother.

 

You can get Single Language Windows 10 if you want, but it won't activate. If you want the free upgrade to full, activated Windows 10, it has to be the version that matches the OS you are upgrading from. That means Windows 7 Home to Windows 10 Home (not single language).

 

Check your original (Windows installer) language with the command I posted earlier. If it is English, install English right away and don't install any language pack. If it is something else (eg Greek in my case) download the appropriate ISO, upgrade your Windows to 10 and then add the English language pack. Set the default display language to English and that's it. No need to remove the other language, there is little benefit in terms of space.

 

Good initial point, burnt and iso already but as i stated i did 3 just to compare and i go an anomaly file size of 2 gb and change. rest though are all 3 and change.
