Windows 10: Dlink DWA 182 C rev. on Windows 10 , only connects as 802.11a protocol

Discus and support Dlink DWA 182 C rev. on Windows 10 , only connects as 802.11a protocol in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Recently bought DWA 182 C1 AC1200, and when I connected to my DIR-850L 5Ghz WirelessAC, Windows 10 only shows im connected using 802.11a protocol....     Dlink DWA 182 C rev. on Windows 10 , only connects as 802.11a protocol


    Recently bought DWA 182 C1 AC1200, and when I connected to my DIR-850L 5Ghz WirelessAC, Windows 10 only shows im connected using 802.11a protocol. using latest driver from dlink (Driver (3.06.B04 Win 02/19/16)

    I even tried to force 802.11ac mode of the dongle, via device manager, still getting 802.11a connection

    any idea on how to get 802.11ac , using DWA182, on Windows 10?

    Cannot install Wireless adapter D-Link DWA-182 in Windows 10 Pro

    I cannot install latest D-Link Wireless DWA-182 driver (version 3.03.B04) in Windows 10. Router is 802.11ac compliant (DIR-850L).

    Windows 10 shows the message "This app has been blocked for your protection".

    Also, when turning off UAC, the message still appears.

    At this moment D-Link site offers only drivers for Windows 8:

    D-Link Technical Support

    Microsoft is investigating it since
    August 2015    . Is there any site to follow up the status of this issue? (if it is assigned, developed, cancelled...)?

    Is there any recommended workaround?

    windows 10 compatibilty issues with D-Link wireless nano DWA 131 and installed program

    Thank you Chi Chun Peng you solved my problem.

    I have the DWA-131 Wireless-N Nano USB Adapter Rev. E.

    In my case I also had to use the windows 7 drivers. In particular

    I downloaded the drivers (FOR THE REVISON E) from Dlink at: ftp://ftp.dlink.eu/Products/dwa/dwa-131/driver_software/DWA-131_drv_revE_5-01_eu_multi_20151016.zip

    I had to remove all the previous drivers and select the one from Windows 7 to make it work.
