  1. DLNA making me nuts

I can find EVERY sort of info about DLNA except how to control what folders/drives it streams. I have a couple drives, one for movies, one for TV/music that I want to stream. I've got DLNA turned on but it insists on streaming my windows "Movies, Music, Photos, etc...." folders, THEN inside of those a bunch of sub categories that don't exist....etc....

Is there just some way to simply set what folders it does and does not make available on the network?

  2. Media Streaming DLNA no longer works after Anniversary edition upgrade

    Hello,

Most of the DLNA servers can be fixed by reconfiguring it on your computer. So, I would suggest you to remove the DLNA servers from your computer and reconfigure it again to check if it resolves the issue.

If issue still persists, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check, if it helps:

    • Go to system tray and click on network and sharing
    • Select change advanced sharing settings at the left top of the screen
    • At the bottom select All network
    • Under media streaming, select choose media streaming option
    • Under show devices on select customize from Xbox
    • Uncheck the Use default settings and check mark make all of the media in my library available to this device

Post back if the issue persist. We’ll be glad to assist you further.

    Thank you.

  3. Nokia Playto not recognising dlna speaker

    Hi deepakdavid1,

    Welcome to the forum! :catvery-happy:

To make DLNA connection work, the phone and the speaker must be connected to the same Wi-Fi connection. Also, the connecting device must be supported by the
Nokia PlayTo app. Currently, the WP8 Nokia PlayTo DLNA app is compatible with devices shown at this link: PlayTo for WP8 Interoperability.
Your Sony Sans-NS500 DLNA speaker is currently not included in the given list, and this might be the reason why it's not being recognized by the phone. We suggest sending your concern as feedback to the developers by clicking the
Feedback button in the given link. Also, this compatibility list is frequently being updated to included new devices that are proven to work with the Nokia PlayTo DLNA app.

Let us know if you need further help. :smileyvery-happy:
