Windows 10: DNS can't be changed from static

Every time try to change my dns setting from static to DHCP it doesn't save it just loads and the save button relights again and it is stuck on this static ip : 127.0.2.2 / 127.0.2.3 and another ipv6 ip:fd01:db8:1111::2/fd01:db8:1111::3and if i change them they revert back within 2 minutes

DNS problems with router

A couple suggestions I have for you:

Update the firmware on the router. Maybe it's getting into a badstate, and a firmware update might fix it. Or if you're comfortable with it, install a custom firmware like dd-wrt. Just make sure its supported on your router first.

Change your DNS to: 8.8.8.8, 4.2.2.1. Might help.

If none of these work, maybe statically set your DNS on your PS3/PC to the IPs you listed, taking the router out of the lookup procedure.

Last option, is look for a new router.

 

Static DNS settings suddently not saving

Problem: When setting iPv4 static DNS address and clicking ok, the address doesn't save and ends up reverting to obtain DNS automatically.

What I've tried to fix it:

Connected to mobile hotspot- same result - static DNS reverts to obtain DNS automatically once trying to view websites. Seems to be an issue on the computer

Ran Mcafee total computer scan, 290216 items scanned, no malicious items found.

Background:

Relatively new Toshiba Satellite bought May 2016 running windows 10.

Static DNS address has been working fine until now. (google DNS) (also tried open DNS and it doesn't stick either)

Perhaps the local ISP here in South Korea installed something on my computer to keep me using local DNS?

Or perhaps something in the registry for network iPv4 configuration is stuck.

 

Windows phone 8.1 static IP and DNS

Hello,

I have a Non Microsoft Windows Phone 8.1

Its Lava Iris win1 .I want to set static IP and DNS on it.How can i do it?Please anyone can guide me step wise.I am new to windows phone

My ISP DNS are just very slow and most of times unable to resolve websites.

When i long press wifi connection it only allows me to enter proxy and port.DNS and Ip option is there but not editable.I found from other forums that editing registry can help to solve this problem.So please Microsoft forum help me to solve this problem.I

I found after liitle R&D that there is SamPhone tools for wp8 but how to use all this.Please guide or if there is any other way
