    DNS server isn’t responding (Windows 10)


    Yesterday the wifi was working normally, then suddenly later at night (12am) the wifi started acting up and nothing would load on our phones, or laptop. All this morning i have restarting the router, even restarted the ont but everyrhing seems to be fine on that end. Windows detected that the DNS server isnt responding. and i have tried many tricks to try and overcome it and a lot of them arent working. It also mentioned the broadband is “broken” and that everythjng is accessible but theres no traffic coming to the internert. How can i fix this? I”m an online college student and this issue is stressful!

    Windows 10 DNS Server not responding

    I recently upgraded to Windows 10 on my MSI Laptop. After install, I keep getting a
    "DNS Server not responding". When I switch back to Windows 8, the computer and Internet Connectivity works fine. I tried re-installing Windows 10 again today with the same problem, "DNS server not responding". I am now back on Windows 8.1.

    Any Suggestions?

    DNS Servers

    I run a DNS server locally, so when a domain is already cached, I get it back almost instantly, otherwise it responds as fast as the first server in my list (75.75.75.75 in my case.)
