Do any of you know the difference between a toolbar and the taskbar? Every answer I've read dealing with toolbar help, is given taskbar help, leaving toolbars completely out of the discussion. I need to resize the font on all my TOOLBARS! How do I do this? Thanks for any relevant and useful answers.

Please follow the below steps and check if it helps:

• Right click on taskbar.
• click on properties.
• uncheck--use small taskbar buttons.
• uncheck--lock the taskbar.
• try to place the mouse pointer and then resize the taskbar.

Doesn't work on an hp stream tablet which doesn't have a mouse only touch screen. Mine is doing same thing. All updates applied and I cannot resize the taskbar on my hp stream 8 tablet. It was fine and now its double height of what it was.

Kindly follow the steps below

First: Disable “Show Badges” option

Right click on the taskbar.

Then select Taskbar Settings.

Go to Taskbar Behaviors.

Uncheck the option for "Show badges on the taskbar."

Then turn on autohide.

Then,

Restart Windows Explorer:

Go to Task Manager

Locate Windows Explorer in the list, right-click it, and select Restart.
