I need help, my letter keys are not working so I cannot input my recovery key code.

BitLocker Recovery Key and Key ID

Thanks for your reply, I am still unclear on where this number comes from. Can I see this Key ID on my devices? I have my Recovery Keys and that is a no brainer but these 8 digit/letters Key ID is confusing. Whenever I have ever needed to use the Recovery Keys, in the past, I had to input the whole 48 digit code.

Here you see the Key ID code and next to it is the corresponding recovery key. So if the codes E80024E, you'll need to find the corresponding key which here would be 16965-175505.... That's the 48-digit key you need to input. Hope that helps *Wink
