  1. Do I have to re-install programs once I upgrade to Windows 11?

Will upgrading to Windows 11 wipe out the programs already installed on my PC? Examples would include tax software, older Excel, etc... Do I have to re-install these programs one by one? I KNOW THE FOLDERS and DATA FILES ARE MOVED. That's not the question. I'm referring to programs. THANKS.

    :)

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.

  4. Do I have to re-install programs once I upgrade to Windows 11?

Internet Explorer 11 indicates installed but not found, Windows 10

I have seen this solution previously and tried it.

The Internet Explorer is not in the Programs and Features list. The Internet Explorer 11 is enabled on the Windows Accessories. I rebooted, but Internet Explorer is still not in the Programs and Features list and is not a choice when trying to select a
default browser. The two choices are Chrome, which I added, and MS Edge.

I have tried to download IE 11, but the download program insists that IE 11 is already installed, so it only congratulates me. Whatever the download program is looking at it is not the actual program.

    Any other suggestions?
