Windows 10: Do i have to reinstall win 11 after motherboard upgrade

I am upgrading from a msi b550 to a msi x570 and will I need to reinstall windows because of the small chipset change.The cpu gpu and ram and ssd are same though.

Upgrade to Win 11

Trying to upgrade laptop to Win 11. My processor is listed on Microsoft compatibility list as one that will work with Win 11, but the health check says it won't and therefore will not allow upgrade. All other items on list are ticked green. Any advice please?

The only hardware changes that can negatively impact activation status once you upgrade to free version are the changes to the:

• CPU
• TPM
• Motherboard replacement

The following changes are examples of hardware changes that will NOT impact the activation status:

• HDD/SSD
• Video card
• Adding extra memory

upgrade to Win 11
