I just did an update when I restarted my computer and for the first time, my computer restarted was stuck on a black screen while restarting, so I had to force a restart. It didn't look like any issues happened then since it just continued updating, but it restarted on it's own 2 more times with the "Your computer may restart a few times" which I have also never seen but both of these things were already worrying me since I really never seen that before.Any then once I opened up the computer, I'm introduced to the ene.sys warning, I restarted and hoped it was a fluke, but then I was reintroduc

    Undo Update 2004

I am running Windows 10 on a Microsoft Surface Go 2-in-1. When I clicked Update and Restart, it installed Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.630)
The screens were as if I had just installed Windows 10. It gave me what would be Welcome to Windows 10 and Tips for how to use it. Windows Update History only gave me that update and no previous history.
I am very nervous about how to Undo 2004.
I think I was running 2019, OSBuild ?? I misplaced my System Log folder.
Can you give me the steps to Undo 2004? Thanks, cb

  3. Windows 10 Support Post October 2025

You will still be able to use windows 10 after October 2025, it is just that it will get less secure as time goes by.

And what upgrades you need to make depends on what is missing from your device. You can tell me which part doesn't meet the requirement and I can give you suggestions.

    undo system restore

Yes in the system restore options there will be an Undo button to go back.

    1. If you boot to advanced startup options from within Windows 10, you must be signed in as an administrator to undo a system restore.

    2. Click/tap on Troubleshoot.

    3. Click/tap on Advanced options.

    4. Click/tap on System Restore.

    5. If you booted to advanced startup options from your Windows 10 installation media, click/tap on your listed Windows 10 OS, and go to step 7 below.

    6. If you booted to advanced startup options from within Windows 10, click/tap on an administrator account you want to provide credentials for.

    A) Enter the password for this administrator account, and click/tap on Continue.

    7. Click/tap on Next.

    8. Select the restore point that has Undo for its "Type", and click/tap on Next.

    See if that helps.
