Windows 10: Do I need to purchase another Minecraft Bedrock?

A while back, I purchased Minecraft Bedrock edition on my pc. I then thought that it would be fun to play with my sister and allowed her to use my Microsoft account to download this version of Minecraft. After a day or two of play, I realized that our Minecraft skins were the same when playing on a multiplayer world, even though we had both picked out separate skins, and some of the gameplay would be weird.


My sister and I both use different Xbox accounts, so I don't understand what the problem is. Do I have to spend an additional $30 to play with her?

I have just done a search on Minecraft Bedrock edition and could not find it. Are you sure it was Minecraft Bedrock edition, and not another edition of Minecraft?

I have also looked on your Xbox profile and found that you do not have Minecraft Bedrock Edition in the games you have played. You seem to have the following: Minecraft, Minecraft Xbox One Edition, and Minecraft Windows 10 Edition.

Please can you check to make sure it shows under My purchases on https://account.microsoft.com

• From where did you download the Minecraft Bedrock Edition?
  
• Were you able to play Minecraft Bedrock Edition earlier on this computer?
  
• Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? To check type: winver in the search bar on the Taskbar and hit Enter.

Purchase prompt for Minecraft Starter collection for PC.

We understand your concern as you are getting a prompt to purchase Minecraft Starter Edition. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below

• Where did you redeem the code?
  
• Where and when you are getting this purchase prompt?

However, we would like to inform you that Minecraft Bedrock Edition is not available in Microsoft Store. In Microsoft Store you will have the Minecraft Starter and Master collection.



If you have redeemed the code in Mojang website and installed the Bedrock edition from Mojang, then we will suggest you to reinstall the game from Mojang website and sign in with the same account, which was
used for redemption.



Minecraft Starter collection is all together a different game, which you have to purchase separately from Microsoft Store.



I would also suggest you to contact the Mojang support team for further assistance on this issue.
