Windows 10: Do I need to reinstall windows 10 on new build

I going to upgrade from am4 to am5 sockets. I have a new motherboard, cpu, and ram. Can I simply just plug in my m.2 ssd that already has windows 10 and all my data, to my new build and boot it up. Will window 10 recognize the new parts and troubleshoot and fix the problem and keep my files? Do I need to backup my data and wipe my ssd and install windows 10 again and use the backup to get my stuff back? Or can I install windows 10 to a usb drive and keep my m.2 ssd but in boot up prioritize the usb and override my ssd windows drive and will this keep myfile/data?

Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”

Reinstall Windows 10 to new hard drive

• If you already upgraded to Windows 10, were you able to create a new copy of the recovery drive?

Installing Windows 10 on New PC?

I'm going to be building a new PC on Christmas and want to install Windows 10 on it. I have Windows 10 on my current PC, which I installed upgrading from 8.1 with the files on a USB. How do I go about installing a clean copy of Windows 10 on this new PC? I think I recall something about installing it once makes Microsoft recognize your hardware, but since this will be a PC I'm not sure what steps I need to take. Do I need to go 8.1 -> 10 or is there a method of going directly to 10?
