Windows 10: Do I need to remove a Windows Pro key from a device in order to use that key on a new device?

I purchased a Windows 10/11 Pro upgrade for a laptop and am now replacing that laptop. I am having issues "downgrading" from Pro to Home on my old laptop so I'm wondering if that's a requirement in order to "transfer" the license to my new laptop or if I can just manage that through the Microsoft Store app and use the license on the new laptop requiring a different key or downgrade on the old one?

Windows pro product key re-usability

This is an informative question regarding the policies of windows. I have an existing Microsoft Windows Pro software installed on one of my devices, I wanted to know if there is a way using which I can use that product key on my another device which has
Windows home installed in it, to upgrade it to Pro. If the policy requires the earlier existing system(with windows pro) to be abandoned or removed in order to allow the product key of pro to be used in a new system, that too works for me.

Please help me by suggesting me steps to take.

How to retrieve Windows 10 Pro key from stolen device to use on new device

Yesterday our office was broke into and my laptop was stolen.

Normally, you can go into your Windows account, go to the devices list, remove said device, and then attach the key to the new computer. I removed the device however the link that you would normally click goes to a "web page could not be found"

page. I have my order number and email from Microsoft from the original purchase but it does not list anything either.

Could someone please help me recover my key so I can get back to work?

 

GPU-Z device list enumeration, device order?

Specifically, how are the the GPUs listed in the drop down sorted, or determined? Vendor and PCI ID? OS hardware device list? Other?

Sorry if this was answered somewhere already. Searching for "GPU LIST ORDER" and like terms were not helpful.
