    Do I need to Uninstall Linux before using HP recovery manager?


    I have a laptop dual booting Windows 10 and Kali Linux. I no longer need Linux and my Windows installation has some problems. I want to use the HP recovery manager to factory reset my laptop, however it says in the recovery manager that "This process will reinstall the original factory image on the system partition but will not perform other hard drive changes" does that mean that my kali linux installation will still exist? If yes then how do I get rid of it before I begin factory reset? Thanks!

    Do I need to Uninstall Linux before using HP recovery manager?

    I want to use the recovery manager. I want the laptop to get back to its original state. I'll try the third party disk manager. If I uninstall linux will I have to fix the boot manager? I've read that when installing Linux, GRUB overrides that windows boot manager but when I go to the BIOS I can choose to boot straight into windows without seeing grub. Do I still have to deal with that?
