Windows 10: Do I need to Uninstall Linux before using HP recovery manager?

I have a laptop dual booting Windows 10 and Kali Linux. I no longer need Linux and my Windows installation has some problems. I want to use the HP recovery manager to factory reset my laptop, however it says in the recovery manager that "This process will reinstall the original factory image on the system partition but will not perform other hard drive changes" does that mean that my kali linux installation will still exist? If yes then how do I get rid of it before I begin factory reset? Thanks!

Help with HP System Recovery partition

well the recovery partition is meant to be burned to cds with the HP recovery manage...

 

HP Recovery Manager - Rebecca.exe

I'm trying to run Recovery Manager from the HP folder listed above. All installed drivers have been updated per the Windows 10 installation process and everything else appears to be working fine however the system refuses to allow HP Recovery Manager to
run regardless of how I attempt to execute the program Rebecca.exe.

 

Unable to access HP Simple Pass to Sign-in to the computer on Windows 10

• Have you installed HP simple pass software on your computer?

Try the below steps and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to download the latest HP Simple Pass software from the manufacturer's website install it and check if it helps.

Step 2: If you have already installed the software, I suggest you to re-install it and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to Access Recovery Manager:

• Press Start button from the keyboard, type Recover Manager.
• Select Recovery Manager from the list when it becomes available. Allow the action to continue, if prompted. The
  HP Recovery Manager opens.
• Click Software program re-installation, Next , select
  HP SimplePass for the listing and then follow the on-screen instructions to reinstall application
