Windows 10: Do i really need to redownload my games?

In this system i use an SSD to install windows and an HDD to install everything else.


So i bought the PC gamepass and installed gears 5 and the outer worlds a week ago. And in this time, my ssd started to show some fatigue signs, so i bought an NVME and installed windows in it.


For my surprise i tried to show windows store where my games were saved, and the system said that i need to wipe the folder and download it all again!?

This can't be real. in my case, i still have my working SSD and i can still play, but if my drive had failed, i would be out of luck??


Please, someone help me on how to show thee store where my games are without wiping them.

redownloading a redeemed game

Minecraft redownload

If you visit the device manufacturer’s website & visit their downloads page is there anything listed so you can redownload the game?

If not then you may have to purchase Minecraft.

 

Redownload Games and Apps.

I just got a new HTC Trophy because my old one had an error on it. Am I able to redownload the games and apps onto the phone without being charged and are game saves in the cloud or are they lost forever on the old phone?
