Windows 10: Do not have any sound in games

So basically this has been a issue ever since i got a gaming pc. All audio works fine spotify, discord, ect but when i load up a game, and this can be any game... games on steam, games on the microsoft store and Blizzard. atm i am trying to fix the sound for Forza Horizon 4, i looked in the volume mixer and there is two forza horizon 4 tabs, and one of the volume sliders is gray and i cannot adjust the value. when i switch my headset to the stereo version a very low quality sounding version it works, while having the game open i cannot hear anything else like spotify and discord. my headset is bluetooth btw.

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

Do you get sound with basic windows drivers?

I suggest you try the following steps:

Follow the steps mentioned below:

• 
  Right on the start icon and click on device manager
  
• 
  Expand Sound video and Gaming , Select the Audio adapter, right click on un-install.
  
• 
  Restart the computer.
