    Do we know where Edge settings are located (e.g., homepage)?


    We previously found the Edge bookmarks, but do we know where general Edge settings are located (like the pop-up blocker, the homepage, etc.)?

    I would have thought they'd be stored in the following path, but it appears I am wrong:

    %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe\Settings

    I am trying to figure this out so that I can distribute them as the default settings to my new Windows 10 deployments.

    changing the homepage in micrsoft edge

    I have tried to know avail to change the homepage in Microsoft Edge. I went to settings and to the internet options and changed it as usual and nothing. I really do not have a real reason to change my homepage if not for the fact that when you read a
    story on MSN and if you are half the way down the page it doesn't put you back where you left off. You have to actually scroll all the way down to get to the next story. I'm not sure if it's a MSN problem or a Microsoft problem but can someone tell me how
    to change it to a homepage that will do as I want it to do. Edge is also the slowest browser to load than any that I have seen in a long time and I have a pretty decent system.

    Where are the Favorites Located on Microsoft Edge?

    I opened Edge on new Windows 10 computer.Then found the setting to import Favorites from Firefox and Chrome..It said it had done that... But WHERE are they???? I've clicked every button I can find and they can't be found...

    Wow, so universal apps CAN access the registry? Thought I read somewhere that they couldn't...Guess this puts that to rest. Maybe I can use Process Monitor for the other settings.

    It'll be worth a try, but any Edge settings should be set somewhere in the key or subkeys below.

    Hi there

    I don't think you need any registry keys -- you can get access to settings by just entering about:flags in the URL page.

    (Build 10240). I think this is where more options will be stored when Edge is updated a bit more in the future. It's OK-ish but I'm not getting rid of IE 11 just yet..

    For more "Standard" type settings just mouse click the 3 dots in the top window and choose settings.
