Windows 10: Do you have any storage of ip that is logged in to my account on Find my device

Hello,A helper told me that if my device didn't have the 4G LTE chip, the signal would be sent based on the IP address. So does microsoft store any data about that IP address? If yes please provide me.Thank you so much.

did you marked "save this pc" in the list. also if your work network hasnt ip reservation and you get different ip evey time you restart steam may count this as new device.
once i swiched opera with ie and i got account verification

 

IP Address Logging And Device Tracking

My windows 10 laptop was recently stolen and I am trying to help the police with their enquiries. I was wondering if the track my device functionality actually requires a log in to windows to for an IP address to be logged. On the laptop were two accounts
- one of which was connected to my live ID and required password login. I wanted to check if an IP address log is made only once one gets past the login, or if it logs the IP address every time the device is switched on, regardless of who logs in (ie the account
still "logs" if not logged in). If so, I can pass this IP address on to the police.

Yes I did. And also +1 for the browser change causes the same issue.
