Windows 10: Do you have plans to redo the microsoft store or merge with a half decent option like steam?

Hi so I made the mistake of wasting a dollar on games pass thinking that the lineup was good. After realizing everything is locked in the Microsoft store launcher I got worried as I should of been. Download speeds twice as long at min pain in a butt to mod. No Achievements or they are hidden literally just a way to demo a game without pirating it but not worth the money. Hoping someone sees this and saves theirs. So curious to my question any plans to actually remake that mess or just merge it with someone half competent? ]\FYI I'm showing on the store "15mb/second" by the time I wrote this I

Company merging on the horizon

The Inq. talks about some major company merging that could take place this summer. What is likely to happen is summarized in the following list:

• eBay is in talks with Microsoft and Yahoo regarding cooperation and perhaps even a combination
• Oracle, SAP and perhaps Novell might be "up to something"
• Telecoms will surely continue to be a big source of deal-making and not just through attempts to build scale and geographic coverage. Deals such as Sky-Easynet and eBay-Skype suggest that combinations of services could be the way forward.
• Sun might be bought by Fujitsu Siemens, HP or Dell

Is Microsoft Really Planning To break Steam?

SO, many articles, like this one
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/epic-founder-thinks-microsoft-will-try-to-slowly-b/1100-6442169/, and or Videos online, talk of how Microsoft plans to ruin Steam, the main platform that PC Gamers have been using for YEARS, by slowly breaking it with updates.
If any of this is real, or there are plans for such things, Microsoft. What. The. ****. I Upgraded to Windows 10 because I wanted to make sure my Gaming PC was up to date and for how future games (On Steam, NOT Windows Store as I only use a few things on it)
could require it since 7, or 8.1 systems (I came from 8.1, and regret that decision for upgrading) are old and how the developers of these games could just drop support for these OS (and no I do not mean how Microsoft will drop support for Windows 7 and 8.1
soon for being old like how with Vista and XP or etc., I mean like Dev's making the games WORK on these OS's). I DID NOT Upgrade to later on have my Steam games, and Steam itself to stop working all together, because what, you want more people to use Windows
Store and not Steam? I Chose Steam, that's that, I enjoy what comes from that more then the Windows Store, and will never switch over for being my main way of gaming. Honestly, if all of this is fake, go roast me or call me a idiot for all I care for even
making this, ill just be glad I can enjoy my games with friends on our preferred client. However if this IS Real........Microsoft I never thought you would go this low, its just sad to see a company that made a great OS (Windows In general, like 95, 99, XP,
Vista-ok maybe not Vista, but 7, 8.1 and 10-Ok maybe Not 10 now, that might even go LOWER then Vista) turn it to do this all this.I started having problems and regretting my decision for upgrading way after I upgraded, and now my 8.1 is gone, and factory reset
is completely gone, so I'm stuck with 10 forever, unless I go buy a new OS (and by new I of course mean 7 or 8.1 to roll back, as 8.1 was really much more enjoyable for me and less problems then 10), and if any of this DOES happen, I will go buy a windows
7, 8.1, or ****, go get a Linux damn it, just because you do not want your users to enjoy what they want on Windows 10, and use your Windows Store for PC Gaming. That is All I gota say, and I would not be surprised if the usual MS Bot comes with a response
not related to this at all trying to push this aside clearly showing these intentions are real. If a response that is not from a bot, and actually about this topic, that would be great, but the answer (and discussion for all of you to now talk about and get
the attention of Microsoft) about if its true or not. (And By Now, if they there's no plans to do such a thing, I am probably gonna just assume there lying, and will not care if it makes a **** out of myself.)

 

add games to steam store

I'd like to request that a few games be added to the Steam Store those being the Windows versions of Gears of War 1, Halo 1 and Halo 2. The steam community suggested it'd be best to contact Microsoft directly hence why I made this post.
