Windows 10: DOB changed on account

Discus and support DOB changed on account in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; Recently my DOB has changed on my account and now says i am under 13 so cant change it back and every time i try to use my browser or email it asking...     Recently my DOB has changed on my account and now says i am under 13 so cant change it back and every time i try to use my browser or email it asking for permission Any advice is greatly appreciated

    Can't change Microsoft Account DOB using neither method recommended my Microsoft

    I want to correct my wife's DOB from 2015 on her Microsoft Account to prevent any restrictions for her using her laptop applications.

    I have followed the instructions of:

    How to change a birth date on a Microsoft account - Microsoft Support

    The first method doesn't work because it thinks she is a child so I have to resort to the second method of adding her to my account as a family member.

    However, on the family account list, it states her account as an adult. It won't let me modify the dob.

    Questions:

    1 - How can I correct her DOB if I can't do it through her account or through my family account.

    2 - Why does on the 'your family' list on my account say she is an adult when her dob is currently set to 2015.

    Changing child's DOB but no option to do so

    Hi,

    I'm trying to change my son's DOB on Microsoft. All Microsoft instructions say to log in to my adult account, select him in Family and select 'Manage My child's profile info' and then choose 'Edit this
    child's personal info'

    Seems straightforward but I don't get offered the 'Edit this child's personal info' option on the 'Manage my child's profile info page'.

    All it has is a statement saying some countries have different steps to regulate what children can do online.

    And I can't change the DOB from my son's account via the 'personal info' section.

    Any suggestions welcome as I've spent hours looking into this!

    I can't change my DOB on my Microsoft Account

    HI there,

    I've put in the wrong DOB on my "adult" Microsoft account and the DOB is the DOB of a child and so I now can't change it. I've tried doing it through my wife's account as we're part of the same "family" but as I'm registered as an adult it's not letting
    her update my DOB either.

    Can anyone help?
