Windows 10: Documents folder doesn't replicate using Off Line files

So on latest build of Windows 20H2 updated today 15 12 20. If I enable off line files, Desktop folder syncs ok, Documents does not. When I am on line my folder is called "Documents" but when I am off line it is called "documents". and is empty. I have disabled off line files, rebooted and started the process again, Sync Centre states sync was completed with no errors. Again "documents" folder is empty. Whilst online I try to browse to the server and share of my Documents folder and when I get there, folder is now called "documents" and is empty. If I disable Off-Line files, reboot and reconnect I can browse and folder is called "Documents". Whilst off line files is enabled, if I select "view Offline Files" there are 2 "documents" folders which I cannot delete.


What am I missing to make this work?

I`m sorry I had not noticed that the text on the picture was in spanish. It says that windows has replaced some damaged clusters in "name" file and "directory". Then, at the end "an unspecified error occurred (75736e6a726e6c2e 4f6)".

I`ll do it and I`ll be updating this thread when I have the report.

I suggest you to Restore to Default the folders and document settings and see if it helps.

Step 1:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Download folder.
• Right click on the Download Folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

Step 2:

Please follow below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Documents folder.
• Right click on the Document folder and go to Properties.
• In Properties go to Location tab.
• In location Tab Click on Restore Default.

After performing above steps change the settings as you required and check if it helps.
