Windows 10: Documents get lost on my computer

Hello everyone.

I have a desktop Acer and windows 10

2 things are bothering me on this computer:

1; My documents get lost and I cannot find them no matter where I save them in the document section , in the scan section, PC, quick access, etc... when I need them, they are not there.

But after a while Few days later, All of a sudden when I am searching for something else, they show up that means they are not lost or deleted, they are somewhere in the memory but I cannot find them- Could somebody give me advise? Thank you.


2: The notification keeps beeping every few minutes and is very annoying. I turn off all the apps and the main switch, but after few minutes it goes back on by itself it's very annoying how can I turn it off permanently?

Lost documents after Windows update.

Here are two suggestions:

• Have a look in the folder C:\Windows.old\Users\MjKoval\Documents.

Implement a robust backup scheme. If you have very important documents then they must be stored on two independent media.
Do not wait until they are lost.

Change the settings in folder options to show the quick access menu. I assume this is what you mean?
Post back if not

• Open the File Explorer.
• Tap on View and click on Options.
• Change the option Open File Explorer to: from "This PC" to "Quick Access"

 

I lost my documents after the windows 10 upgraded, which seems that it roll back to the previous version months ago.
