    I got a new HP omen laptop has these parts in it;Rtx 3070 max q laptop gpuİ7 11800h16gb ram1tb ssAnd i saw my ram stays at 15.6 gb and it says 378mb ram is hardware reserved memory.I know system reserves memory but i never seen this much in my.When yesterdey it says 364 mb reserved. Today I updated some drivers and it says 378mb nowDoes it make diffetence in gaming if i want to play the game needs 16 gb ramBecuse when i tried to open Dying light 2 It crashes after 2 min. I dont know if the ram couses it or not

    Half of RAM 'Hardware Reserved'

    I have 32GB of RAM installed and half is "hardware reserved" by Windows. I've tried every suggestion I can find, including moving the modules around to different slots. My MB does not have onboard graphics.

    Specs:
    • Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-AX370M-DS3H (BIOS on latest firmware)
    • CPU: Ryzen 7 2700X (upgraded from 1700x and it didn't help)
    • RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE® LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 DRAM 2400MHz C16 Memory Kit
    • GPU: Nvidia RTX-2060 Super


    The BIOS, Windows, CPUZ and HWInfo all show 32GB installed and both slots used, but Windows says "Hardware Reserved: 16.1GB".

    This was occurring on Windows 10. I am currently running Windows 11 (beta channel) and it didn't help. I also upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 7 1700 with no change.

    Hardware reserved ram is to high

    I am having a similar issue with the system reserving over 4 gigs of RAM and as suggested have run the WPT.

    hi all,

    I upgrade my window from 8.1 to window 10, and the usable ram only 3.2 GB.

    But recently i upgrade also my RAM to 8 GB, but the only maintenance on 3.2 GB usable , and the remaining go through the hardware reserved (4.8 GB)

    Anyway to solve this ??
