Windows 10: Does a full disk image also save account passwords?

Recently I changed my password to an account on my windows 10 lenovo computer. Apparently I misremembered it, since now I can't log in. I have the security questions, so I can reset the password, but I'd like to know just what the heck I set it to previously. If I create a full disk image and restore the image to a different computer, will the old password be saved? As in, old password="Password", I perform the disk imaging, then I change the password to "Newpassword". Sometime in the future, I restore the original image, then I type out "password"-> "P@ssword"->"Password" oh, the passw

  A password reset disk can only be created for local user accounts. If your computer is on a domain, a system administrator can reset your domain password. For Microsoft accounts you can reset the password by following the steps below
  
  • Sign in to your Microsoft account, then select
    Security & privacy.
  • Select Change password.
  • Enter your current password, then the new password that you want to use, then enter the new password again.
  • Select Save.
  
  

Try the following steps to create a password reset disk for a local user account.

• Login to your computer using the local account you want to create a password reset disk for.
• Insert a USB drive or SD card into the computer.
• Type Create a password reset disk and select it
• Click Next.
• Select the location to create the password key disk and click Next.
• Enter your account password and click Next.
• Click Next, then click Finish.

Cannot access my User Account on local machine but can access Admin account. Need help finding password but NOT reset it as it will delete saved data.

I understand your concern and will assist you to resolve this issue.

If you reset the local account password it will not delete the Saved data.

I suggest you to back up the saved data and files from the admin account and try to reset the password and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below to reset the password.

• 
  Press Windows + R.
  
• 
  Type netplwiz and press enter.
  
• 
  Select the user account.
  
• 
  Click on Reset Password.

We suggest that you turn on the Offer to save passwords in Microsoft Edge by following the steps below:

• In the Microsoft Edge browser, select More actions (…) >
  Settings > View Advanced Settings.
• Turn Offer to save passwords to On.
