  1. Does a limit of simultaneous users in Windows Server impact performance?

Hey everyoneI've been taking my first steps into the world of servers with Windows Server 2022.While setting some advanced sharing parameters on a few folders I noticed that the "Limit the number of simultaneous users to:" parameter is set to a ridiculous 16777216 2MiB or basically unlimited. We'll have a max of two users connected in our testing environment and a couple of hundred in our production environment but I was wondering if this value actually impacts performance.Of course I understand that more users connected to a server will negatively impact its performance but I was wondering

    :)

Multi-user simultaneous RDP in Windows 10

I am a mid level sysadmin at a University working on a project requiring multi-user simultaneous remote connection to a set of single host servers. However, due to budget limitations on the end of the faculty implementing this project, Windows Server / RDS
licenses are proving difficult to come by.

Is there any solution to multi-user simultaneous RDP in Windows 10?
