Windows 10: Does a Windows Media Center WMC analog exist in Windows 11?

Hello everyone. I wanted to ask if Windows Media Center WMC was previously present on Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, 8.1 operating systems. Is there something similar on Windows 11 in order to watch TV channels through a TV tuner and listen to FM radio? Is there anything relevant for 2025 on this issue? I'm asking, purely out of curiosity, if that's possible now.

In regard to your DVD Rom drive - go to -control panel/device manager/DVD/CD-ROM drives -make a note of the make and model number Example: Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-215D ATA Device - highlight the device you have installed -press right mouse button-select properties-details-property and select Install Date from the drop down list and let us know this.

Back to basics question here. After installing the card with driver, did you run the Windows Media Center setup? WMC needs to be configured for your tuner.

 

Alternative to windows media center help

hi i haveing problems with windows media center so i need an alternative. It must be free, show my music libary like wmc and video libary like wmc have a tv guide and be able to use a remote, oh and play avi file. Basicly do everything wmc can do but actually work.
Please help out here cheers
