Windows 10: Does adding Work or School account change your login methods in Windows?

I registered a Microsoft Student edition with my school email and today I logged in to Microsoft 365 with that account on my personal laptop. After signing in, it asked me if I wanted to use the account on my computer, and after clicking yes, it showed that it was registering my device.I was already logged in with my Microsoft account. But after adding the school account, my PIN and fingerprint weren't there anymore. When I tried signing in, it asked me to create a new PIN and the fingerprint isn't there anymore. Why is that? Did windows think that this was my school laptop or something? Will

School still requiring login changes after disconnecting on my PC

This has been going on for a bit now, and I'm finally getting so fed up with having to brainstorm new pins every 3 months. I initially added my school live account in hopes it would make working between home and school easier. After a while, I found it so
annoying the issues outweighed the benefits, mainly in the fact I was running out of logins I could easily remember. For some reason, the policy for non-school PC is triple how often you need to reset a school-owned one. Anyways, I disconnected, yet I still
have the organizational restrictions on my login and consistently have to change everything but my fingerprint, which doesn't always work. Here are the repo steps...

1. Settings -> Accounts -> Access work or school.
2. Click the profile you wish to disconnect and select "Disconnect".
3. A) Wait for a month or two until it requires pin reset.
   
   B) Go to Settings -> Accounts -> Sign-in options and click pin or password. Below it will give you a list of organizational restrictions and hold you to them when creating the pin.

I can live without a fix, but personally i want my school of my laptop since I won't be going there soon anyways.

 

Cannot login work or school account operated by 21vianet

I have a newly installed win11 22621.900 and try to login my school office 365 account in Settings - Accounts - Email & Accounts - Add work or school account.

As usual, I already use this login method for my several machines to receive emails via built-in Email UWP and sync files with Onedrive.

However this time it shows my username is incorrect as you can see my school account is an education email operated by 21vianet in China.





I also ask my school helpdesk but they just suggested me to use Outlook App instead of using built-in Email UWP.

So I am just wondering if there is any other way to login and use Email app for my education email?

Remove Deactivated Work Or School Email Account

I have an organizational email account that has been deactivated, current guides online say the following:

"If you need to remove an account from your PC:

1. Select Start > Settings > Accounts > Access work or school .
   
2. Select the account you wish to remove, then select Disconnect
   
   ...."
   

However, the only option presented at this section is "Manage" which forwards me to my organization's page to login. The account has since been deactivated with no way to get to the next step.
I have been getting notifications from my system that "There is a problem with a work or school account click her to fix now" but obviously can't login to remove the account from the system.
Is there a work around to remove the account without logging in?
