    Does anyone else have this issue I seem to have KB5036979 trying to install again for some...


    In the latest windows cumulative updates I got this particular KB5036979 update that is being detected to be there but when I try to find it on apps and features or try removing it with the microsoft tool it doesn't seem to be there. So I'm a little lost as to how one can tackle this issue. What course of action should I take?

    Windows Update KB5036979 is not installing on my Windows 10 22H2 computer. Has anyone else had this issue?

    Update on the situation with KB5036979.

    I figured out how to assign TrustedInstaller ownership of the wusa.exe application dated 04/24/2024. I then ran the application to install KG5036979, and it again failed to install with Error code 0x8007000d. I may just have to hide that update - KB5036979 (OS Build 19045.4355) Preview, unless someone can help me find a way to install it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
