Windows 10: Does anyone have a driver for Toshiba HDDR320E04XG Portable USB Drive?

I have a sick Windows 10 laptop that will not accept Windows updates. When it reboots, it gets the circling dots and they stay on for at least 24 hours. I've not waited longer than that. But that's another issue.


My plan is to "transfer the flag" to another computer and then nuke the laptop and install a fresh installation of Windows 10.


The problem is, that the last attempted Windows 10 update broke the driver for the portable hard drive. A have a few files I need to back up. I can do this manually, pushing the files across the network to another computer, but I'd like to use the backup software in case I forget something.


I have been all over the web trying to find the driver - the Toshiba site says it is no longer available. Other reliable sites also come up negative. There are a few sites that claim to have it, but MalwareBytes blocks them due to trojans.
