Windows 10: Does anyone have office 2019 on windows 10 20h2?

Hello,

Does anyone have office 2019 or 2016 (home and student) installed on windows 10 20h2?

If so, can you provide a screenshot of the apps in the start menu list?

I'm wondering if office 2019 comes with onenote and if so how does it appear in the start menu list?

For example, windows comes with onenote and that is exactly how its displayed in the start menu list, 20h2. If office 2019 comes with onenote also, does it display exactly as onenote also, meaning you have two apps titled exactly the same thing?

Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

• Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
• Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
  • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
  • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
  • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
• The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

 

Microsoft Office 2019 Will Run on Windows 10, and Only Windows 10

Office 2016 is supported on all current O/S's until 2025. So, 7 years is plenty of time to phase out all of their previous O/S's. I doubt there would ever be much need to run Office 2019 on a non-Windows 10 computer.

How is this news or surprising to anyone?

Especially when there are viable and arguably better open-source alternatives out there.. For those of us who don't use Microsoft Office, this isn't a problem.
